Greetings, Bulldog Nation! 2021-22 COURSE SCHEDULING - On Tuesday, February 16, students in grades 9-11 will be guided by their 5th period teachers in the official submission of their course requests for the 2021-22 school year. Over the last few weeks, all students participated in classroom presentations with the counselors to learn about graduation requirements and various factors to consider when choosing courses.

Greetings, Bulldog Nation! STUDENT & PARENT SURVEYS - With a strong commitment to continuous improvement, Bowie relies on feedback from the annual Student Climate Survey and Family Survey. Bowie students in grades 9-11 will begin taking the Austin ISD 2020–2021 Student Climate Survey in their English classes on February 10, 2021.

Greetings, Bulldog Nation! Around noon today, the official proceedings of Inauguration Day commenced on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, with the vice president-elect and president-elect taking the Oaths of Office, followed by the inaugural address. This year, in-person attendance was limited to Congress due to safety protocols related to the ongoing pandemic and the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Greetings, Bulldog Nation! Sunday’s snow flurries were certainly a welcome and fun respite from the concerning, ongoing, and unprecedented political developments in our nation’s capital -- and a treat for us snow-deprived native Texans! Fortunately (or unfortunately for those students hoping for a good old-fashion “snow day”), learning continued on Monday with a quick shift to 100% remote classes. I thank everyone for their flexibility!
