Welcome Bowie Counseling Department

Mission

Our mission is to provide our students with the knowledge and skills to be successful both at Bowie and in life.  Our comprehensive guidance program is comprised with various activities and events for our students and parents including: academic planning, mental health support, classroom guidance lessons, presentations, etc. 

Upcoming Events

  • Fall Senior Conferences- September 3rd & 4th
    • Link to presentation here.
  • Fall Level Changes- September 14th- September 18th
    • Students wanting to level down from an AP or Advanced level course down to the academic level of a course can apply for a level change. 
    • Application will become available September 14th and must be submitted by the end of the day on September 18th.
    • Approved schedule changes will go into effect September 22nd. 
  • Club Fair- October 2nd
    • Club booths will recruit in the courtyard during both lunches.

  • Twilight Credit Recovery- October 5th- November 19th
    • Students needing to recover part B of a course(s) can register for our Twilight credit recovery program.
    • Registration open soon!
