Mission

Our mission is to provide our students with the knowledge and skills to be successful both at Bowie and in life.  Our comprehensive guidance program is comprised with various activities and events for our students and parents including: academic planning, mental health support, classroom guidance lessons, presentations, etc. 

Upcoming Events

• Parent Meet & Greet- August 8th
  • Come to the Bowie Library from 8:00AM-9:00AM or 5:00PM-6:00PM to meet your child's administrator and counselor. 
• 9th Grade Parent Night- August 13th
  • Learn about programs and resources for 9th grade students in the Auditorium from 6:00PM-7:00PM.
• Meet at the Tree Campus Preview Event- August 18th
  • Students in all grade levels can come from 5:30PM-6:30PM to walk their schedules or get a campus tour. 
• First Day of School- August 19th
• Bulldogs & Hotdogs- August 23rd
  • Join us in the courtyard for the PTSA's largest fundraising event of the year! Play games, get Bowie merch, eat good food, and support your school!
• Back to School Night- August 26th
  • Parents and guardians are invited to this come-and-go event to walk their student's schedule and introduce themselves to their teachers.
• Club Fair- August 26th
