Kimberly Shaheen, LMSW joined the Bowie High School Counseling Team in the Fall of 2023. Previously, Kimberly was the Communities In Schools Program Manager at Sadler Means YWLA in AISD for 5 school years. She received her Masters in Social Work and a Masters in Public Administration from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. Kimberly is a Upstate NY native but has thoroughly enjoyed escaping winters and living in the warmth of Ausitn, TX since the Fall of 2017 when she moved here to do a year with AmeriCorps VISTA. Kimberly enjoys all the food Austin has to offer, traveling, and spending as much time with family, friends, and her best pup- Veyda.
