Senior Information for Graduation Ceremony

Graduation Preparation Information

Graduation will take place on Thursday, May 28 at 8:00 p.m. at the Burger Athletic Complex. Graduating seniors should arrive by 7:00 p.m.

When viewing the stage:

• Graduates with last names A–K will be seated on the HOME/Jones Rd side of the stadium.

• Graduates with last names L–Z will be seated on the VISITOR/290 side of the stadium.

• The stage will be located closest to the Burger Arena in the end zone.

Families may wish to plan seating accordingly based on where their graduate will be seated.

Additional reminders:

• If graduation is moved indoors to Burger Arena due to inclement weather and limited seating capacity, each graduate will receive 7 wristbands for guest entry.

• Austin ISD will continue paid parking for graduation ceremonies. Pre-paid parking is $15, and day-of parking is $20.

• Free shuttle service will be available from each high school.

• ADA parking is available on both sides of the stadium on a first-come, first-served basis, so families needing ADA access are encouraged to arrive early.

Parking and Transportation:

AISD is providing shuttle buses from the campus to the graduation site beginning 2 hours before and 2 hours after the ceremony's conclusion. On-site parking is charged: $15.00 pre-paid and $20.00 on the day of the event.  The link to pre-pay for parking is on the Austin ISD website.
