Hector Munoz is an assistant principal at James Bowie High School who works with students with the last names A thru DAR and supports teachers in Bowie’s Social Studies Department.

This will be his 10th year in education and 1st year at Bowie. He was a social studies teacher in Hays CISD and assistant principal in Del Valle ISD before coming to Bowie. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Texas State University and earned his Master's in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. He enjoys building relationships that will last with students and teachers and looks forward to coming to Bowie. Mr. Munoz also lives in the community and has two children in the Bowie vertical team; he also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
