Paulette Walls

Paulette M. Walls is a native of Los Angeles, California where she completed her formal years in education and still considers “home.” She is married to the love of her life, who is also an educator in Austin Independent School District (AISD) and the proud mother of two boys who both attend AISD schools.
Paulette has 20 years of experience as an educator, working primarily in AISD at the secondary level. She began her professional career as a middle school Social Studies teacher.
Paulette received her BA in Political Science from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA and her MA in Public Administration with a focus on Education and Social Policy from the Daniel J. Evan School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She received her teaching and administrative Alternative Certification through Region XIII.
She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and singing in the church choir. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and enjoys participating in service events and activities.
You can often hear her say, ‘It is what It is’ and ‘You cannot control, what you can’t control.’ Her motto is: ‘Each day is a gift, that is why it called the present.’
According to a Gallup Leadership poll survey her top five strengths are: Strategic- Communication- Activator- Relater- Restorative.
