We are almost ready for Thanksgiving Break! Today, the Student Leadership class at Bowie is hosting the annual No Place for Hate Fall Festival. In this letter, Mr. Robinson shares the details of that celebration, as well as information about additional parking permit sales, PSAT scores, the application for testing accommodations through College Board, and how to apply for the district Special Education Family Advisory Committee.

Mr. Robinson shares multiple opportunities for families to engage in different initiatives at the campus and district level, including enrollment with AISD's new platform, the Bowie Family Academy course to explore concepts in cultural proficiency, and the district's Family Empower Hour sessions. Additionally, he shares information about National Youth Homeless Awareness Month and the upcoming celebration of Diwali.

Mr. Robinson shares reminders in the interest of safety and security, including our procedures regarding student ID badges, our secure perimeter, checkout procedures, our no curbside delivery policy, and safe driving. He also discusses upcoming events: the Austin Powwow and the annual 8th grade Dawg Show visit!
