Bowie High School Clubs & Student Organizations (2026-27)

Students interested in starting or continuing a club at Bowie High School must complete the appropriate process each school year.

Curriculum-Related Club

A curriculum-related club is directly connected to an existing Bowie course and aligned to TEKS. These clubs may have a faculty sponsor who actively supports, leads, and promotes the club.

Requirements:

  • Annual application required
  • Principal approval required
  • Faculty sponsor required

Non-Curriculum-Related Club

A non-curriculum-related club is not connected to a Bowie course and is not aligned to TEKS. These clubs are student-led and student-directed.

An adult may serve only as a monitor for safety and supervision purposes and may not lead, direct, organize, or promote club activities.

Requirements:

  • Annual notification required
  • Principal approval not required
  • Adult monitor required
  • Meetings may occur only before school, during lunch, or after school

The list below is provided as a reference for students interested in starting or re-establishing a club at Bowie High School.

Due to changes in state law, board policy, and campus procedures, all clubs must complete the appropriate 2026–27 club process. Inclusion on this list does not constitute approval or recognition for the 2026–27 school year.
